Bret Bilbrey is from Memphis, Tennessee. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcast Journalism and a Master of Arts degree in Public Relations and Social Media from the University of Memphis.

Throughout his time in the 901, Bret has not met anyone who does not have an interesting story or anecdote about the Bluff City. 35 years after he was put on this earth, he decided it was time to document these narratives for the rest of Memphis, and the world, to appreciate.

Bret is a life-long fan of  Memphis sports. You used find him at Memphis Riverkings, Memphis Mad Dogs, Memphis Chicks, Memphis Pharaohs and Memphis Maniax games. Now you will find him cheering on the University of Memphis Tigers football and basketball teams, the Memphis Redbirds, the Memphis Hustle and the Memphis Grizzlies.

When he is not enjoying the sights and sounds of Memphis, Bret cooks BBQ competitively and has finaled in several Memphis BBQ Network and Kansas City BBQ Society competitions.
